THE PEOPLE OF RBC SEEK TO BE A
DIVERSE, CHRIST-CENTERED COMMUNITY
WHERE GRACE IS ABUNDANT,
GROWTH IS ENCOURAGED,
AND OUR LOVE OF GOD LEADS US TO SERVE WHEREVER WE ARE CALLED.
We encourage one another to enjoy a lively relationship with God through Jesus Christ that is expressed as we:
WORSHIP GOD in relevant, refreshing services.
Our worship is a blend of traditional and contemporary styles, offering a variety of spiritual experiences that allow people of different generations, backgrounds and worship traditions to be at home and to grow in worship.
We have a commitment to welcome and accept one another for the people we are. We believe that God's family is inclusive, and no one should be excluded because of race, economic status, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, physical or mental abilities, background, life experiences, or for any other reason! Children, youth and adults worship, work, play and pray together as we seek to grow as followers of Jesus.
STUDY SCRIPTURE in order to grow closer to God and each other.
We are a theologically diverse group of people from a variety of religious backgrounds. We find hope and direction as we learn from God's word how to live with purpose and passion in God's world.
SERVE CHRIST in local and international contexts.
We seek to make tangible connections between the faith we profess and the lives we live. From Vacation Bible School to addressing environmental concerns to international cross-cultural mission trips, we want to manifest the good news of God’s love in all we do.
UNDERGO TRANSFORMATION by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We want to help each believer find opportunities to use their talents and spiritual gifts. Wherever you are on your journey of faith, we want to walk with you in this lifelong process of transformation.

CHILDCARE PAGING SYSTEM
Our nursery has a paging system. Parents are given a pager when they drop their child off in the nursery. Should they be needed during worship, the pager will silently let them know to return to the nursery. This system is similar to one used in restaurants when waiting for a table.
ABUSE PREVENTION POLICY
Our church, including our Nursery School, has a clear protection policy, that seeks the welfare of children, youth, and adults involved in our ministries in any way. You can see and download that policy here.
We are an intentionally
In 2016 we began a Discernment Process to help RBC 'discern the mind and will of God for our congregation’s ministry to and with LGBTQ persons.” Our conclusion was that God is leading RBC "to welcome and minister to and with all persons without distinction based on sexual orientation or gender identity." We are now seeking to faithfully live out that decision in all aspects of our life together.
You can read the full conclusion
