Where you are always welcome!
OUR LOCAL MISSIONS:
First Fruits Garden for the HungrySix raised garden beds located behind the church provide fresh produce for the Project Outreach food pantry each week during the late spring and summer. Members of the congregation build the beds and now plant, water, weed, and harvest gifts from the soil so that others may enjoy them. A small amount of the harvest is shared within the congregation.
Project Outreach is a community mission that serves all ages with a food pantry, emergency services, housing, transportation, and more. This ongoing ministry encompasses many churches in the Royersford and Spring City area. Royersford Baptist Church collects food for the pantry and responds when emergencies arise.
Anti-Human Trafficking. RBC participates in MCAT (the Montgomery County Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition) to educate the public including children, youth and young adults in our county about human trafficking, both forced labor and sex trafficking. We are helping to build a community network to identify signs of trafficking and are equipping people to take action. Our initiatives include membership on the MCAT Board of Directors, work to plan awareness events throughout the county and hosting community educational and training events at RBC for our immediate area. On the global level we support Rovaughana Richardson and other missionaries working to end modern-day slavery and to provide aftercare for survivors.
RBC Players Our annual summer musicals are also a means of outreach for Royersford Baptist Church. RBC Players is committed to providing an inter-generational theater experience for members and friends of Royersford Baptist Church. This ministry involves an incredibly wide range of talents from across our community: actors, musicians, stage crew, costumes, makeup, and publicity, to name a few. It provides an opportunity for all to share their gifts, have fun, and experience the love of Christ and Christian fellowship.
Knitting and Crocheting for Peace PodWe are a part of women4women-knitting4peace, an organization dedicated to crafting hope, healing & peace one stitch at a time through non-violent compassionate action. We meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7 pm in the Pastor's Study. Items we have made and prayed over are mailed to the national organization to be personally shared with others. Any one in our area is welcome to join us any night!
St. Mary’s Shelter Each year, members of Royersford Baptist Church support the St. Mary's Shelter by providing a week's worth of meals.
CROP The annual community CROP Walk, to raise funds for the hungry includes mini walkers from Royersford Baptist Church. Some have been walking and collecting donations for over 20 years! New walkers are always welcome.
The Administrative Support Team of RBC, under the leadership of Dave Messer, organizes missional projects around our church building including spring and fall work days and building repairs and upkeep. If you are handy with tools or love to work outside, we've got a place for you to be involved!
Eyeglasses Collection We maintain a collection point in our lobby for old eyeglasses. In the last year RBC has contributed around 90 pairs of eyeglasses. Your eyeglass contributions are valued and make a difference.

Mission Trips The church wide short term mission trips to Chile in 2007 and Ensenada,Mexico in 2003 proved to be wonderful intergenerational experiences where participants learn to value other cultures and gain a better perspective on what it means to follow Jesus in a global context. Our most recent group to go was the 2015 Mission Team, who participated in a Music Camp in Haiti.
Our youth also sponsor an annual week of mission with the REACH program. In addition, individuals and families in our church have traveled to mission sites like Cuba and Haiti in the past couple of in the last couple of years. Money is set aside in the RBC Budget to provide some support for people who feel called to participate in a short-term mission project.
