Where you are always welcome!

There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28

Ryan Seckman (rseckman@hotmail.com)our Youth Director, began his ministry with us in the summer of 2013.  Ryan is a graduate of Eastern University, an energetic player of volleyball and a gifted musician.  He shares his life with a couple of feline friends-- Fanta and Nacho.  He is always glad to see new faces at Youth Group!

Lee Kratz (rbcabc@rbcabc.org)has been our Administrative Assistant since September 2011. A busy mom with active kids at home, Lee knows how to handle multiple tasks at the same time. She is both efficient and friendly and if she doesn't have the answers, she'll find them!

Her office hours here at the church are from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.  She's ready to help you in any way she can.

Sharon Brownback(slbtuscany@gmail.com) has been the Choir Director at RBC for over thirty-five years.  The anthems she chooses range from simple to challenging and include sacred, spiritual and contemporary music. Various instruments enhance the anthems when possible.  She is always happy for new choir members!

Sharon graduated from East Stroudsburg University in Elementary Education, with a minor in music. After staying home to raise her four children, she was a Language Arts teacher for sixth grade at the Spring-Ford Intermediate School. She resides in Pottstown, PA with her husband, Bob, and loves to spend time with her family now that she is "retired"!

Lara Cifelli(laracifelli@gmail.com) is the Worship Coordinator at Royersford Baptist Church.  Lara has been a member of RBC since 2001. During that time, she has maintained an ongoing involvement in the RBC music ministry (including worship team, RBC players, adult and children’s choir, and various instrumental ensembles). This means she not only understands how RBC works, but also a good sense about the people of RBC and how they share their talents together in ministry.  Lara can help you plug into worship teams, sing specials, and a whole lot more.

Lara also is employed by the Quakertown Community School District as a Band Director, teaching beginning instrumental music to students in fourth and fifth grade at Pfaff Elementary School.

Alex Cifelli(acifelli86@gmail.com) is the Accompanist for RBC and the newest member of our staff.  He is a music teacher for 7th grade in the Springford School District and director for the high school musicals.  His musical gifts are outstanding and it is a joy to have him sharing his talents with us as he accompanies the choir, worship teams, and our congregational worship.

Kristin Christopher (mkchristopher@verizon.net) is Director at our Royersford Baptist Church Nursery School.  She lives in Collegeville with her husband and three boys.  She has twins going into Ninth Grade and a younger son entering Fifth Grade.  She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Bucknell University, and a Master of Education Degree from Cabrini College. She also taught Kindergarten in the West Chester Area School District.

Rev. Dr. David M. Brown (pastor@rbcabc.org), our interim pastor, earned his B.A. from Michigan State University (English Education), M.Div. from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (Bible), Th.M. from Princeton Theological Seminary (Homiletics), and Ph.D. from Temple University (Rhetoric and Communication). He was ordained by the Stelton Baptist Church of Edison, NJ in 1974, and, over the course of his ministry, has completed two full-time pastorates (NJ and CA), 10 interim pastorates (NJ, ID, CA, NH, two in PA (RBC is his third), and three in OH). He also served as Executive Director of the American Baptist Theological Center at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena and Interim Executive Minister of the American Baptist Churches of Rhode Island.

His ultimate goal is to get us ready for our new pastor. Through preaching, newsletter articles, Bible studies, special presentations and programs, or small group meetings, he will be working with our Search Team and Leadership Council to prepare for new pastoral leadership—a pastor who will be different from every other pastor we’ve known. We'll start to look ahead with hope and purpose as we anxiously await his or her arrival.

Above all, remember the encouraging words of Jeremiah 29:11 during these days: "'I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" That’s where we’re headed under the Lordship of Jesus and the guiding hand of his Holy Spirit, toward that new future he will be working out in and through us!
